Filmfest München: MEMORIES OF A FOREST

World premiere: A slow-paced drama about expectations and finding oneself Frieda is about to fulfill her dream of going into academia. But when her grandmother dies, she returns to the village where she grew up. There, the friction between her and her mother is reignited, as is Frieda’s feeling of confinement and obligation. Inheriting her grandmother’s spruce forest, Frieda is forced to reckon with her family’s financial difficulties.
