Classics The trio Wildes Holz has made a name for itself by finally playing rock and pop music on "proper" instruments. And those are, of course, wooden instruments! Especially the humble recorder, which lends a very special touch to this music. But what already works with rock classics should certainly be possible with the "real" classics! So Wildes Holz takes on Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms or Telemann - and plays their music as if they were rock classics. They are, in a way. And the treatment with woody humor, virtuosity, and a good pinch of self-irony does these works an extraordinary amount of good! It's no coincidence that the trio has been playing on Germany's small and large stages for 25 years and has thus become a classic itself.
