Filmfest München: LET SLEEPING DOGS LIE

World premiere: A black comedy about lying to oneself and about moral degeneracy that’s generations old. As she goes to wake her grandfather on the morning of his 100th birthday, Fanny finds that he’s taken his own life. The suicide of the family patriarch threatens to shatter the perfect image the family has cultivated as well as derail a celebration that was long planned. The pecking order is shaken up as the wolves in sheep’s clothing are forced to keep up appearances.
